May is National Bike Month, and the Auburn Trails Alliance is celebrating all month long with a lineup of rides, events, and community gatherings across Auburn.
Things kick off Sunday, May 3rd with a Kick Off Party at Auburn Bike Park (3–7 PM) featuring food, drinks, a Jump Jam, Bunny Hop Contest, Pump Track Challenge, live music, and vendors. All ages welcome.
Throughout May, riders of all types can join the Bike Month Challenge — a free, month-long contest tracked through Strava. Log your road, mountain, e-bike, indoor, or commute rides from May 1–29 for a chance to win prizes. Every participant earns free raffle tickets for the end-of-month Block Party.
Every Wednesday evening in May (6:30 PM at Auburn Alehouse), the Speaker Series brings local experts together to talk commuter e-biking, trail e-biking, bikepacking, and the legendary Western States 100. A portion of all food and drink sales goes to Auburn Trails Alliance.
The month wraps up Saturday, May 30th with the Trivia Night and Raffle Block Party (6–9 PM) on Hoffman Ave between Old Town Pizza and Two Ass Brewing. Enjoy pizza by the slice, craft beer, ice cream from Yeti Tavern, Auburn-themed trivia, and a raffle with awesome prizes. Free Bike Valet service will be available on-site.
All proceeds support the Auburn Trails Alliance and their work maintaining trails and Auburn Bike Park. Visit auburntrailsalliance.org/bike-month-2026 for the full schedule, Strava challenge details, and raffle prize info.
